Well, we started the day out with swim classes and lunch in Seaside for free at a community center for kids. Something they offer during the summer for the kids is a free healthy lunch if they stop by all summer long Monday thru Friday. So, we've been hitting it up after swim classes for the past week with a mom I met at swim class Kim and her two twin girls Tori and Toni.
Then, we headed to the Seaside Aquarium, lots of fun, we fed the seals, got wet. We went and played in the hands on tanks and held crabs, star fish and live sand dollars. We touched sea urchins and tons of other things that I can't remember the names of but it was a lot of fun and Holdon really loved it!
After that I had to pee, (go figure) so, we headed quickly to the nearest any place which was Dairy Queen and I got Holdon an Ice Cream and myself a chicken sandwich because well I hadn't had lunch yet...Then we headed to the next door neighbors house to hang out with Holdon's new friend Dylan and I hung out with the ladies Stacie and her mom Gail. We chatted and hung out and I got Stacie to take some pics of me for all those who wanted to see the belly progression.
After hanging out Holdon and I went to Fred Meyers and picked up a few things from the store for dinner Zucchini, Squash, Bread, Milk and Fruit as well as a few more craft things that he and I had discussed earlier, GLITTER AND GLUE! FUN FUN!! but messy messy! He made about 4 pictures and decorated his necklace Winnie the pooh thingy he made yesterday. We set them on his play table to let them dry and cleaned up, then ate dinner, cleaned up again then we brushed teeth and got ready for bed.
As I started to download the pictures from this afternoon, Holdon decided to climb in the crib, onto my dresser, which had clothes on it and jump to our bed and guess what, he slipped because of the clothes and didn't quite make it to the bed! He's shin hit hard and slide down the side of the side rail on the bed...There will be a pleasant looking bruise from that one. I asked him if that was a good idea and he said "NO, THAT WAS NO A GOOD IDEA MOMMY!" I agreed we should probably not climb on the dresser and jump anymore. What a great idea!
All in all it's been a pretty good day except for the fact that it's 9:00 PM and my son is still yelling from his bedroom that he wants some cereal! AAAAAHHHHH!! Can we all scream together and say "GO TO BED HOLDON!!"LOL!
